We arrived safe and sound at Lake Wales to stay with Dick and Cass good friends we met on a cruise ship a year or two ago. We found ourselves staying in a wonderful house (with a 40 foot motorhome in the garage) next to the first tee fairway with alligators on the front lawn.
A quiet day today with Dick and Cass taking us to visit to a central Florida Art and Craft show at Winter Haven. Trish managed to aquire a handcrafted necklace made from a petty blue soldite? and silver, and I a key lime flavoured frozen custard cone.
We are being spoilt here in this home away from home, great people, great food and great hospitality.
Tomorrow we will visit one of the aircraft museums nearby.
