Camino Vezelay day 16 St St. Germain Beaupré to La Souterraine 15.01 km
The usual small roads and farm tracks today. A long section was walking through a green tunnel made up of ferns trees and brambles quite nice.
I have started planning for the section after Limoge. I now find I have a serious problem. Everything after Limoges for at least 60 km is full on the dates I am walking.
Where I have found one place there is nothing available for 30km before or after.
Everyone I speak to to find Accomodation is as surprised as I am. Apparently it has never been like this before.
Looks like I am going to make some significant changes to my plan.
I have a sleeping system with me of a poncho tarp that I can use as a tent with hiking poles, groundsheet and ultralight air mattress. So can sleep outside if need be. However the weather forecast for the week after Limoges is rain. I am still waiting on a couple of replies so may be all good yet. All part of the adventure.
