Port Kelang – Malaysia

Today we sailed into the deep water harbour of Kelang to dock at Port Kelang cruise terminal which is on the west coast of Peninsular Malaysia and is the country’s leading port.

We decided not to take the trip to Kuala Lumpur and instead boarded a local shuttle bus service provided by P&O to a shopping centre at a nearby town of Klang where we spent the afternoon wandering through many stores in the Mall. Well Trish shopping and Steven waiting patiently outside the numerous ladies clothing sections and shops!!

Shopping

Exploring a bit further, we went for a walk and crossed the busy road to check out the other stores in the nearby area. Seeing it was mostly industrial supplies, white goods, car accessories etc. We wandered back to the cool of the air conditioned mall for some lunch.

Trying for internet at Port

Weary from shopping we sat down to some lunch and Steven chose the Singapore Noodles and prawns. As Trish cannot take spices, she decided on the American Fried rice.

Another first for us. Trish was the last person back to the ship today and 5 min late tut tut tut!! The officer manning the gangplank advised the captain we could go now as the last passenger was now on board.(Well it was Steven buying last minute duty free at the dock that held us up!!)

Leaving Port Kelang

On to Singapore
