The ship docked this morning next to Kawloon in Hong Kong harbour so just a short walk to the shops and Honk Kong Island ferry.
Most of today was spent walking around the shops however we caught the short 10 min ferry over to Hong Kong and back as our ‘Harbour Cruise’.
There are a lot of people here, especially walking around at lunchtime, reminded felt like being in a human ants nest.
Sat on the avenue of stars for a rest, tried some of the local food and returned to the ship with some family gifts.
A great night time sail away from Hong Kong. The sail away was great with all the buildings lit up and laser light shows as we sailed away. Hong Kong is the most spectacular harbour in the world to sail out of at night!
A couple of days at sea now on our way South to Brunei and closer to Australia!!
Bali then Darwin on the 15 February…….
Fascinated to read about your adventures after we left you in Dubai. You should be travel writers and photographers!!!!! All was superb during our stay in Dubai – a very modern, rich but rather clinical city. It's hard to think that you are still out there on Oriana while we are here in the snow! Keep the blog going we look forward to hearing about more of your adventures. Notice that Tricia is still shopping for family presents – have you bought another suitcase yet?Have fun Stuart and Kath xx
