Marrawah North West Coast Tasmania

Near West Point with panoramic views out over the ocean towards Mt Cameron and the Studland bay and Woolnorth wind farms.

This area which has been voted one of the three best surfing beaches in Australia, is located app. 2km from Marrawah and has a small free camping area.
There are lots of Aboriginal rock carvings, especially around Green Point, Preminghana and West Point near Marrawah Tasmania. There is little accommodation, although the isolation is what makes Marrawah special. There is a large surfing and windsurfing competition held here as the surf is world class. better known as the Ripcurl West Coast Classic.
