Saint Sylvestre-Sur-Lot France

100_9229We are now in the South of France visiting Stevens Cousin who has a house at Saint Sylvestre Sur Lot. This is a small town on the Lot River near Villenvue Sur Lot.
Warm days 27-30 deg with storms bringing a cooling breeze in the afternoon and night. Reminds us of home. We have been taking it easy sitting on the100_9228 veranda, snacks, beer wine and coffee’s. Lunch at a restaurant at Penne D’argenais which is a medieval village located on top of the hill that overlooks the Lot river and nearby villages  including Saint Sylvestry Sur Lot.
We have our first small dent in the Hymermobile. After scaping the rear on a narrow steep twisting turn going up into a medieval car IMAG1055park, played it smart on the way out and angled the exit as much as possible to avoid scraping the road, great idea but the top of the Hymermobile also angled over into the wall of a house. (The walls of which can protrude into the narrow roadways).
Free Internet access hotspots are not common here and there are very few pay as you go hotspots (none where we are now, so Steven now has a French SIM card for his phone to get the internet but needs to download the settings to make it work, so another trip to McDonnalds for WiFi to download instructions, emails and hopefully update the blog
We have now planned the approximate route from here. To the French coast on the Mediterranean, then up to Switzerland, Western Austria through Northern Italy to Slovenia, North to Hungary, back through Eastern Austria, Germany, France (Paris) then back to the UK.
