Back in the Northern Territory for a while

Spending the next few days in Darwin and Palmerston with Family, then down to Katherine on the 23 Dec for Christmas. The wet season is a great time in the Top End, watching the storms and torrential rain showers. Everything is green and lush. Great time to visit family as most places off the main roads are already inaccessible In fact there are not many days where it rains all the time and you can usually get out and about. One significant difference here is it is still warm and the rain is not cold so you just get refreshingly wet and cool.
