Arrived in Le Puy France for the Camino Via Podiensis

Arrived early so I could have some time here as it is one of the highlights of the Camino.

A beautiful day to wander around Le Puy. Found lots of steps to climb and the most significant pilgrim sites. The Le Puy Market was amazing with classic cars, traditional artisans and wonderful array of breads and cheeses.

I enjoyed the Luminèrs where they create a light show on the historical buildings. I took a long video if you want to see it here is a link. https://youtu.be/r4tOLgwOkhk The flowers at about the middle look good.

Le Puy is also famous for its lace and lentils.

I have been here for 2 days and not come across anyone else from an English speaking country. Quite different from the Camino Frances in Spain. A Belgian couple saw my scallop shell and asked about me pilgrimages.

The walking starts tomorrow after attending the 7am pilgrims mass at the Cathedral.
